  1. Miracle depicting the spiritual power of Shri Satam Maharaj converting impossible to possible

One day, Shri Satam Maharaj was travelling in a car along with some of his devotees. All of a sudden, the car rolled down in adeep valley. It was a sheer miracle that no occupant was injured. However, Shri Maharaj was not to be found, and appeared missing even after the search all around the site of accident, causing worry among his devotees.

However, after sometime, another car coming from opposite direction came and stopped there. To everybodys astonishment, Shri Maharaj was seen seating and relaxing in that car.

Everybody was kept guessing without any explanation. It was a thrilling experience.

  2. Miracle proving that utmost patience is required in devotion

Mr.Shirshekar and his wife were very poor financially, finding it difficult to make both ends meet. Somehow, they had heard about Shri Satam Maharaj, who was helping the people. With that hope, one day, they reached Danoli. But unfortunately, they could not meet Shri Maharaj personally, even after eight days of waiting there. But without losing the hope, they lingered on at Danoli, keeping themselves busy with carrying out all sorts of menial services.

At last one day, after many days of patient waiting, the luck smiled on them, having personal meeting with Shri Maharaj, near the grocers shop. They offered prayers with touching Shri Maharajs feet. Shri Maharaj, without saying anything, just grabbed the handful of rice from the grocers shop and told them to go away after offering the same to them.

Shirshekhar couple though glad at the response of Shri Maharaj by way of handful of rice, were still at a loss, because of uncertainity about the future as regards money was concerned. As they kept walking with this thought of uncertainity, all of a sudden one gentleman, who was their family friend called them.

During their conversation, their friend realized the financial problem faced by the couple. He then offered Shirshekar a job of working with him.The friend was dealing in the business of importing rice and selling in India. He was in fact on the look out for a man to assist him. Mr. Shirshekar, promptly agreed to his proposal and proceeded to Mumbai.

After Shirshekars joining, the business of his friend, started prospering. The business prospered so much that Mr. Shirshekar was deputed to Rangoon to look after the Rangoon branch independently. In due course of time, Shirshekar started his own independent business of exporting rice, with due approval from his friend.

Mr. Shirshekar, who once upon a time was finding it difficult to manage financially became millionaire by the grace of Shri Satam Maharaj. Shirshekar in reciprocation offered golden padukas to Shri Satam Maharaj. Shirshekar couple then became the ardent devotees of Shri Satam Maharaj.

  3. Miracle proving that the wordly power is nothing compared to the spiritual power

One day, Bapushab Sarkar of Sawantwadi was travelling to Danoli by car, when all of a sudden, a half naked man came in the way of the car.

Bapusaheb stopped the car and saw a man with dirty insufficient clothes on him, carrying a wooden rod in one hand and coconut shell in the other hand, standing in front of the car.

In those days of the rule of the power, it was virtually an invitation to death to stop the car of a king. However, Bapushaeb, for unknown reasons, was not distributed. He simply started looking at the man.

After the stoppage of the car, the man moved away, clearing the road. Bapusaheb then started the car, but the man reappeared, blocking the car. All other people around there were watching the scene quietly. But nobody, had courage, neither to prevent the man from blocking the car, nor to talk to Bapusaheb.

Bapusaheb then instructed his secretary to get down and inquire about this man. But the secretary could not get definite information. They therefore thought him to be a mad man or rustic. Bapusaheb again started the engine, but the man reappeared in the way. But this time, he advised Bapusaheb to return to Sawantwadi and not to go to Delhi because the purpose of his visit to Delhi had already been fulfilled and such there was no need to go to Delhi. With this advice, there was a sudden change in the attitude of Bapusaheb who, quietly turned back his car to Sawantwadi.

On reaching Sawantwadi palace, he noticed that the documents of approval of authority had already been received. There was really then no need to go to Delhi. Bapusaheb was amazed at the power of intuition of the so called mad man. This mad man was nobody else but Shri Satam Maharaj.

Bapusaheb became a true devotee of Shri Satam Maharaj thereafter and never used to take any decisions without consulting Shri Satam Maharaj.

  4. Miracle for silencing the critics

One day, Shri Satam Maharaj was sleeping in his room while some devotees had gathered outside his room. There was also one gentleman, who had come out of curiosity for the first time.

This gentleman was suspicious about Shri Satam Maharajs true identity, especially when he heard that Shri Satam Maharaj was also at times drinking beer. He therefore, mentioned his doubt to his other friends, who warned him to stop uttering such irrelevant and casual statements.

After sometime, Shri Maharaj woke up and came out of the room in anger. He also threw away the gown that he had put on and uttered loudly Who told you that I am the God, who told you that I am the pure saint. I drink, I eat fish, I eat chicken. God is in the temple. God is not here. You all leave this place.

He then, came on the street with abusing words and entered the shop of a goldsmith uttering again the words How am I the saint, I eat fish, I drink beer, etc.

He then lifted a bottle that was full of acid (Tejab) and emptied it in this mouth.

The people thought for a moment that , Shri Maharaj would die after drinking poison. But surprisingly Shri Maharaj became quiet, without any reaction on his body.

In fact, he was never angry, but created this incidence to clear the doubts in the minds of the people. The people, who had ridiculed earlier, now realized the power within Shri Maharaj. The people felt ashamed of their own narrow mindedness.

Shri Maharaj was not averse to drinking or eating non-veg food. But in reality, He was eating and drinking not out of any attachment. He was beyond any bodily attachment. Obviously the people who were not awrae of his fact were ridiculing him.

  5. Miracle denoting a communion with animals and nature

One day, Shri Satam Maharaj was meditating alone in a forest when all of a sudden, one tiger pounced on Shri Maharaj, wounding his shoulder. Shri Maharaj however, realizing that the intention of the tiger was nothing else but to draw His attention on himself, tantamount to Shri Maharajs darshan, simply looked at the tiger without any reaction. Soon the tiger left the spot.

Shri Maharaj, not at all bothering about the wound, never paid attention to this wound. Shri Maharaj asked for jaggery from one nearby grocers shop, and told the owner of the grocery store that he required jaggery just to feed the hungry worms that had collected over his wound. The owner of the shop simply looked at the Maharaj with amazement at this almost mad behavior.

The wound was subsequently cured without doing anything about it.

  6. Miracle denoting Shri Satam Maharaj presented himself in any form of the God worshipped by a devotee

One cartman from Sawantwadi was an ardent devotee of the Lord Vithoba. He also used to visit Pandharpur, in dindi, every year on the Ashadhi Ekadashi day without fail.

On one such visit, he was down with cholera when he was about to return after taking the darshan of the Lord Vithoba. The attack of cholera was severe, making him virtually unconscious. His other companions from dindi started returning, leaving this cartman alone in that condition.

And whenever he regained consciousness he used to pray. Oh God, why I am put in this condition of dependency. Who will look after my family if I die. If you at all you want to take me then take me straightaway without leaving me dependent on others.

When he was asleep, he had a dream in his sleep in which he saw one sadhu telling him My friend, why are you asleep, come on get up, your other companions have deserted you. But dont worry you are now hungry and I have arranged for rice and curry for you, come on get up.

Saying these compassionate words, sadhu woke him up by shooking him in the dream.

On opening his eyes, he found that the sadhu had disappeared. But, he felt himself energetic with the normal strength to walk.

He, therafter again gratefully took the darshan of Vithoba, before leaving Pandharpur.

On his return journey, he took a halt in one dharamashala at Amboli. There he heard somebody calling him. To his surprise, the person calling was nobody but was the same sadhu who had appeared in his dream. The cartman immediately bowed on the sadhuss feet, who embraced the cartman saying You have not taken food for many days. I have therefore arranged rice and curry for you to share with me.

They, both then came to dharmashala, where one shepherd was already waiting for them. The shepherd bowing on the feet of the sadhu said Maharaj, today morning you appeared in the dream of my wife ordering her to prepare rice and curry and arrange to bring it to the dharamshala. So all the three, that is, the cartman, sadhu and the shepherd shared the food.

The cartman was very grateful because he was convinced that Shri Satam Maharaj himself appeared in the form of Vithoba through sadhu.
